The Way Outfitters operates with a few paid staff, and lots of volunteers. Expenses are kept to a minimum with many activity providers donating some or all of their costs to host our guests. However travel, lodging, food, office expense and some staff averages out to about $1,000 day for each guest and two parents/guardians. To accommodate 100-Guests for a three day outdoor adventure means we have to raise $300,000.
We need lots of financial help from friends, businesses and foundations. We also accept non-cash donations of items that can be used in the program or sold for cash to provide operating income.
